Seth has had two difficult onboarding experiences, one where Seth was on his own for nearly three weeks due to the death of his manager's father. In another new position, Seth found himself in a meeting on the first hour of the first day, asking to make decisions on projects he hadn't been introduced to. With the lowest unemployment rate in nearly two decades, if you don't onboard a team member well...someone else is probably going to snatch them up.
