David & Deanna Piercy run HMA (Happyland Music Alliance) a non-profit which is responsible for booking and promoting live music in and around the Ada area. They also are apart of the Adafest committee, Deanna heading the marketing and social media side and David heading the booking side. We discuss the origins of HMA and Adafest, the amount of work that goes into both and the positives of the Ada music scene. Deanna runs What's Happening, Ada? which is the hub for all events in the Ada area on Facebook. In addition to Adafest, they are in charge of Music in the park and East End Eats.
