*I DO NOT OWN THE WRITING NOR THE CONTENT* So how can we utilize this concept to serve us better in our relationships? I eluded to this previously, but one of the most important areas to do this, is with the set-backs and obstacles we face. We have contextualized problems as bad or negative, when in fact we should be doing the opposite. If we are indeed in a healthy and well functioning relationship, these issues point to genuine areas where we can improve on things. Positive outcomes are literally lying on the other side of unsolved problems. Henry Ford once stated that “Thinking is the hardest work there is, that’s why so few people do it”.
