Based in Houston, Roots From The Clay is Texas’ fast-rising Roots Reggae band. RFTC was conceived in May 2017 by Jamaican duo Jermaine “Songo” Wilson and wife Dr. Aria A. Wilson. Their music confronts real-world issues. Racial equality, poverty, and relationships are honestly examined through pulsing reggae beats. RFTC’s influences come from Jamaican Roots, Lovers' Rock and Dancehall Reggae music.
