I’m grateful for snow! No matter what you think about winter, the first snowfall is always special every year. The thick, white snowflakes falling down to Earth and glimmering in the streetlights is a magical sight. I’ve got many great memories that have happened during first snowfalls and I was reminded of them during our first snow this year.

In Grade 12, we had a Brazilian exchange student at our school that I became very good friends with. I remember during the first snowfall, my friend and I took her outside, we made a snowman and then carried it around our town for two hours and took pictures of it in different places.
