Before February is over, Laura and I thought we’d squeeze another family focused show into the mix. The two people you see above are Darren (PD) and Mandy Hileman. The Hileman’s have given their life to serve Jesus through vocational ministry. I (Mary) know these two from a discipleship school I attended after high school, which also happens to be the place I work now (shoutout to @therealscsl). Though a huge part of PD and Mandy’s story is full time ministry I asked them to talk about marriage and family instead. The reason being, PD and Mandy have consistently chosen their family first, above ministry. The identity that these two walk in as children of God allows them to put their priorities in order (God, family, ministry). It is because of the faithfulness of the Hileman’s that I know ministry apart from corruption. The Hileman’s share on today’s episode how to put family first and to love God above all else.
