Description

While Simon is in Thailand and has to watch out to not get sunburned, Julian is sitting in Stuttgart still waiting for the winter to come. Although the winter has probably given up and also prefers to be in Thailand, there is light by the end of the tunnel. On the one hand today's date - it is Sunday, the 02.02.2020 and therefore a palindrome! - and on the other hand today's wonderful conversational partner make sure that everything is somehow okay. Because honestly: What could be better than lying on the couch on a rainy Sunday, drinking hot chocolate and listening to a podcast? Right. Listen to a podcast with "Idrettens wonderboy" - as he was described in an article from 2015. As a child of the North with a great enthusiasm for winter sports, he turned his passion into a profession and is now not only Professor at the Department of Neuromedicine and Movement Science at NTNU in Trondheim, but also Managing Director at the Centre for Elite Sports Research and a link between science and top-class sport. And best of all, he was my thesis supervisor. So close your eyes and open your ears. We are glad you are here. A warm welcome to our guest, welcome Prof. Øyvind Sandbakk!

P.S.: Ofc Dragvoll is in the east and Granasen in the west. That just happened.
