Ready to get your fingers pruney? On this episode of Cleaning Dishes, Thomas and Fredtastic share the movies they watched this week. This week the duo watched Tenet, Soul and Crooklyn.
Tenet
Tenet is a palindrome, which means a word that is pronounced the same forward as backward. Tenet is film written and directed by Christopher Nolan, is a mind fuck of a time movie. The world in Tenet is on the brink of World War 3 and our main character who goes by the name Protagonist is on a mission to avoid the end of the world. This is all I am saying to avoid giving to much information. Ignorance is our ammunition.
Crooklyn
A new York story based in the 70’s about the growth of a little black girl. From a girl to a woman you can say. Directed by Spike Lee.
Soul is a movie made by Pixar so get the tissues ready. It is time for Joe Gardner to die. Joe Gardner gets into an accident after finally achieving a piece of his dream of being a Jazz musician. Funny the timing of death, but when we die where does our soul go? Another question to add on top of that, what happens when the soul doesn’t accept it? Soul makes a fun and mind opening movie about death, the afterlife and the idea of life itself. Follow Joe, who is voiced by Jamie Foxx, as he is determined to get his life back and become the musician he wanted to be or so he thinks.
