I know that during these uncertain times, it can be easy to focus on the negative things. However, I hope this more lighthearted episode added some joy and some helpful lifestyle tips to your day!
I also want to encourage you that even though it can be difficult to see the silver lining, God can help us use this time to learn how to trust Him better. God can also help us use this time to really think about our lives and understand what traits we want to cultivate in ourselves and what habits we want to start forming to become better people. As C.S. Lewis stated, "Hardships often provide ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny.”
There are times in our life where things don’t go as planned and we have to surrender our future to God. The beautiful thing is that God has the power to turn bad things around for good. Just look at the conversation Jesus has with God in Matthew 26 in the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus was anxious in anticipation for His crucifixion. But Jesus still put His future in God’s hands because Jesus knew that God would transform even a crucifixion into something beautiful.
And look what happened! Because Jesus died on the cross, we all now have the opportunity to spend eternity with Jesus! God’s plans are so much bigger than our own. He does have a beautiful plan for your life and He will take care of you. We just have to do our best to trust Him each day.
Regardless of how uncertain the external world around us is, we can be certain that God loves us and will take care of us.
