Change requires challenge.
This one phrase is something I constantly remind myself of when it comes to health and fitness. It can be so easy to plateau or hit a wall when it comes to health and fitness, especially during quarantine when we're staying at home most of the time. However, throughout the past couple of months, my whole perspective on health and fitness has changed. Probably the biggest thing I learned is that health and fitness comes with a lot of flexibility. Although it's important to challenge yourself and not stagnate, there are so many ways to pursue health even from home. You don' t need a huge gym to get a good work-out and you don't need to make elaborate healthy foods to eat well.
In this episode, I share some of my favorite workout tips that I've learned while working out at home, as well as some of my new healthy meal ideas. But the most important thing I want you to take away from this episode is that pursuing health and fitness should come from the desire to take care of the body that God gave us. While feeling energized and looking fit is enjoyable, the most important part of a healthy lifestyle is taking care of the body that God gave you. You only get one life and one body, so why not try to take care of it by eating healthy and exercising regularly? How we treat our bodies now will determine our quality of life in the future! It all starts with the daily decision to respect our bodies and treat them well.
I hope you enjoy this episode!
