The episode for this week is all about boys (the most requested topic)!! Today, I discuss topics such as dating as a young Christian female, communicating honestly and clearly, loving your others like Jesus loves you, and finding your self-confidence in Jesus rather than the guy you are dating!
I broke down this episode into three separate categories of tips that I wish I knew before I started dating in college! These tips are broken down into tips before you get into a relationship, tips for when you’re in a relationship, and tips for how to grow from a break-up.
The main message I want to share with everyone that listens is that your relationship with God should come first, above all other relationships.
This means pursuing your life purpose, putting your self-worth in God’s hands, and keeping Him as the center of your decision-making. As you grow closer to God and run on mission for Him, He will bring someone along to run next to you so that you can live on mission together. If you’re confused about how to create a healthy relationship, how to find Mr. Right, and how to fall in love with someone without losing yourself, I just want to say that God’s got you, girl!
God has already written your love story and knows exactly where He wants you to go and who He wants you to be with. All you need to do is trust God, live for Him each day, and develop habits now that will result in actions of selfless love in your current and future relationships.
