We explore the significant role of transport in the EU and its importance for economic growth:
- making transport more sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly,
- the most innovative future technologies and systems such as the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud-based systems, 3D printing,
- smart and sustainable mobility strategies and incentives,
- the European Regional and Development Fund (ERDF) and
the Cohesion Fund, - connected and autonomous mobility, and
- the amalgamation of innovative policies and advanced scientific and engineering technologies funded through decades of research and development schemes.
