Scripture: John 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have Loved you
Observation:
-We are to love each other to Gods standard.
-This goes far beyond the “Golden Rule”
Application:
-1 John 4:19 We love because he first loved us.
-Our love from God is not conditional. Therefore our love for others shouldn’t be either.
-Loving someone unconditionally is not the same as accepting wrong behavior without trying to loving bring them into correction.
-Gods love should overflow from us and pull people to God. It should not be our fuel to attack others.
