Description

As a survivor of a brutal attack that hit national news, then losing his partner to suicide and watching injustice roll out with his attackers not being brought to justice Garth Peters understands what it means to rebuild lives.
He spent time firstly rebuilding his own health and then went on to qualify a personal trainer and mental fitness coach.
So I asked Garth to share his story and how he managed to get through this terrible ordeal, recover and then use it positively to help others.
Listening to Garth (even knowing his story, after hearing him on Clubhouse) still had the hairs on my body stand on end!
Garth is a remarkable example of a person that has shown we all have a choice and that whilst we cannot control events and situations that happen to us, we can control how we react and deal with them.
His story is both emotionally moving and incredibly inspiring to remind us all that nothing lasts forever and that some of the worst things that happen to us in life can potentially a catalyst for positive change.
We all have the same 24 hours a day and a life to lead…remember to be present, grateful and live it to the fullest.
If you would like to find out more about Garth, you can find him on Clubhouse, where he runs several rooms on mental fitness as well as his website here.
I am grateful to Garth for being so open and sharing his story with me and you and will leave you with this quote below:
