In this solo episode I talk about FEAR and how it can hold you back from doing the 'do' and following your dreams.
Inspired by Mel Robbins and her book: Take Control of your life I talk about some of the strategies your can take to help you when you can feel 'that
physical reaction occur' when faced with a difficult task/decision.
Our bodies are quick to give a response through our central nervous system (CNS) even before our brains have engaged as a survival mechanism
called the 'Fight or Flight' mode. However, if the situation isn't actually threatening, you can ride this feeling and emotion out as it calms down after 90secs! This is when you can decide to halt that emotion and use logic instead to deal with the issue.
As she states you can either be 'pulled by your dreams or pushed by your fear'. Ultimately the fear we feel is self-generated by our 'thinking too big' ! This can be broken down by just focusing on one positive step today that will help you get there. Remember dreams need to and should be fluid but if you just keep moving forward you will succeed.
