Dr. Mary Cooper (Mental Health and Gun Violence)
Introduction: Dr. Mary Ellen Cooper from Evans, Georgia, is a best-selling author and college professor who holds two undergraduate degrees, one in psychology and the other in music (with a double major in vocal and piano performance), a Master of Arts degree in Counseling, A Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in leadership and a Ph.D. in human services with a specialization in counseling. She is retired from private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Dr. Cooper is a Board Certified Human Services Practitioner (BC-HSP). She has been an invited visiting college professor and lecturer in China and Vietnam. She often giving international presentations. She is a writer and editor for academic papers and research. As a college professor for several universities, Dr Cooper is a subject matter expert in psychology, counseling, human services, and business. Not only does she teach in these areas, but she also writes and redevelops undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate courses for accreditation. She often speaks on mental health and trending events in the media. Currently, she is a Certified Coach (CC). Clients range from work related advancement to life transitional coaching.
