It’s okay to prioritize you happiness in the midst of a movement happening. Everyone’s role won’t be on the front lines. James Baldwin said, “To be a Negro in this country and to be relatively conscious is to be in a rage almost all the time.” And he was right I’m trying to learn how to suppress my rage and make happiness a priority without feeling guilty about it.
