Hello Beautiful Friends! Happy Christmas Eve & Christmas at this point!
I hope you are well, here is a little episode I recorded and decided to share, it has been a struggle lately to actually share, I have recorded a few new episodes but sharing it has felt a bit too vulnerable/personal aka My Ego is getting in the way. But sharing in general has been a strange thing for me this year and pretty much since 2014 I have struggle with the desire to share and the point of why we share the things we share but that’s for another philosophical conversation. So anyways, here are some of the things I mentioned on the episode:

Empty nest syndrome isn't a clinical diagnosis. Instead, empty nest syndrome is a phenomenon in which parents experience feelings of sadness and loss when the last child leaves home. Although you might actively encourage your children to become independent, the experience of letting go can be painful. - Mayo Clinic

Golden Repair

Kintsugi (also known as kintsukuroi ("golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum, a method similar to the maki-e technique.

Hjem til Jul or Home For Christmas
Perpetually single Johanne -- tired of the constant comments on her relationship status -- starts a 24-day hunt for a boyfriend to bring home for Christmas. - Nordic Netflix

Page where I found a Language Partner:
TandemPartners.org (one of best things for me in 2020)

“We can feel pain and still know we are the lucky ones.” - Paulina Porizkov

Questions to meditate on or write about on your journal:

What do I want out of this world?
What do I want out of this life?
What is working in my life right now?
What is not working in my life right now?
What can I let go off entering this new year?
Write down your best memories of 2020, no matter how big or small.
