In this episode, we look at an early local chain of drive-in restaurants that was once located in Los Angeles -- called Carpenter’s Sandwiches. This chain was a fixture in Los Angeles, having several locations throughout town offering a large menu of hot food and an array of beverages including cold draft beer all served car-side by carhops for in-car dining.
