Double Life with Matthew Williams

Before getting sober in 2010, Matt was living two very different lives.

On the surface, he was a teacher and coach, but underneath he was trapped in a self-destructive cycle of addiction.

"I knew I had a problem, but I could never admit I was an alcoholic."

After being arrested for a DUI Matthew entered treatment and started getting active in a 12-Step program.

Early in recovery, Matt was working a 9 to 5 desk job and doing personal training with clients in the evenings.

One morning, while making a snack, he found grabbed some ingredients from his pantry - peanut butter, protein powder, oats, cinnamon, and honey - and crafted his very first bar. His clients started asking to sample his homemade bars and the FROPRO snack bar was born.

Today Matt is 9 years sober and FROPRO snack bars can be found in grocery stores and supplement shops across the country.

He and his wife also founded the FROPRO Foundation which supports individuals and communities working to overcome addiction.
