Kicking Booze and Breaking News with Courtney Friel
Growing up, Courtney was extremely shy and constantly being bullied, but alcohol and drugs changed that.
She was finally able to come out of her shell and numb the pain of not being liked by the people picking on her.
Over the years Courtney built an impressive resume which includes working at Fox News as a New York correspondent for Fox & Friends.
Courtney said, "From day one there was no such thing as having only one drink."
After a 15-year party career, an impromptu intervention from her friends motivated her to enter rehab.
Today she's been sober for more than 10 years and works as a reporter and host for Fox's Los Angeles affiliate KTLA.
Courtney recently published a book all about her experience titled, Tonight at 10: Kicking Booze and Breaking News.
You can find Courtney's book on Amazon.
