Overcoming Adversity with Amanda Marino

Amanda got introduced to recovery at a very young age. Like many addicts, Amanda feels that her addiction stems in large part from childhood abuse and trauma.

"Right away, I started reaching for things outside of myself to make me feel better." From fourteen to twenty-six, she was in and out of rehabs and detention centers.

After finding her aunt deceased from substance abuse-related causes, she decided to enter treatment one more time. This time she was ready to fight for her sobriety.

Today Amanda is a recovery coach, certified interventionist, and has been sober for more than 13 years.

She says that one of the main misconceptions about interventions is that people are being dragged to treatment when in reality, interventions are peaceful and loving events. You can learn more about Amanda's recovery coaching and intervention services at NextLevelRecoveryAssociates.com
