This is Me with Joe Nester

Like many people who struggle with addiction, Joe came from a loving family and had a good upbringing.

At 19 years old he smoked pot for the first time and within a few months, he had run away from home and was addicted to heroin.

Over the next 10 years, Joe went remained homeless and found himself going in and out of prison.

At Joe's lowest point, he found himself robbing drug dealers and banks to support his habit.

One day as Joe was preparing to rob another bank, he got a call from his best friend who had gotten clean and was offering Joe a way out of the lifestyle he had been living.  24 hours later Joe was on a train to south Florida where he entered recovery and got sober.

Today Joe is a singer and songwriter who shares his experience, strength, and hope through his music.  Joe's latest album, "This is Me" will be available on all major streaming platforms on March 13th.
