1 Chr 16-18 Summary
The Ark of the Lord is moved to the tent which David had prepared. After careful consideration, David decides that a “tent” was not adequate for the Ark of the Lord and desired to build a house of cedar instead. He consulted with the prophet Nathan and was instructed that God would use his son Solomon to build the house instead. David responds to God with praise ad admiration via a prayer which is recorded. The victories of David was recorded of how the Lord was with him in each battle that he faced
