Moses and the elders warned the people to keep the commands that were given to them. once they cross the Jordan.
They were to build an altar of stones on Mount Ebal.
On the stones were the laws in which they were to continue to obey.
Chp 28—Describes the blessings and the curse. Those that continued to obey the commands of the Lord would experience the blessing which included being set above other nations of the earth; the fruit of their womb would be blessed, their flocks and herds, their land and whatever they put their hands to do would prosper. Disobedience resulted in the opposite—lack, scarcity, and defeat in every area.
