The more we find pleasure in the things of God the more we will persevere in every situation.
Paul's letter was to encourage the church at Thesalonica. He was not sugar coating the expectations in their walk of faith . They were encouraged to live responsibly and to love one another .
In the same vein we believers should be the light , there is a call for believers' integrity . We should never believe or teach others a fake doctrines.
These days we are besieged by the so called prosperity gospel . We must stand firm and live exemplary lives. The gratification of the flesh should never become the motivation of our worship of God.
