Bible summary
Judges 4:
God gave up the children of Israel into the hands of Jabin king of Canaan because of their disobedience.
Jabin with Sisera as the army commander oppressed the Israelites for good 20 years . However Barak was moved into action by the prophetic words of Deborah who was the judge in Israel.
There was a war, and the Israelites were victorious under the command of Barak . Sisera was assassinated and Jabin was destroyed with his army .
Meanwhile the total glory didn't go to Barak because he couldn't go ahead to war without Deborah in his company.
Judges 5
Deborah composed a song after the war .
