Summary
Judge Chapter 1
Joshua had passed away and the children of Israel ask the Lord who will help them fight the Canaanites. The Lord told them the men of Judah would help them.
Chapter 2
The people are unfaithful toYahweh and he therefore delivers them into the hands of their Enemies. The people repent and beg for mercy. God sent them a judge to deliver them from oppression.
Chapter 3
Israel forgets God, worships Baal, and gets taken over by Mesopotamia whom they have to serve for eight years. Israel cries unto the Lord, so he raises up the first judge. Otheniel. Israel enjoys 40 years apiece.
