Num 21
This chapter narrates the journey to the last stage before the conquest of the promised land.
Israel becomes discouraged and complains of food and water. That is angry with them and sins snakes to bite and kill them. God instructs Moses to build a pole with a snake on it. They had to look at the pole and believe God would heal them. Comparable to us looking at Jesus being lifted up on his cross and healing our sin problems.
Numbers 22
Balak , The king of Moab, offered money to Balaam to curse Israel. Because he thought the large numbers of Israelites was too many for him to defeat.
Baylor knew enough about God to know he is real and could be influenced by the spirits. This chapter explains how God dealt with them through his holy angel.
