2 King chapter 20
When Hezekiah grows sick and near death, Isaiah comes to him and tells him that God says it's his time to die. Hezekiah weeps and prays to God, asking him to remember Hezekiah's service and faithfulness. God sends a message to Isaiah, saying that he'll add fifteen years onto Hezekiah's life.
Lesson

teaches an important life lesson: actions have consequences. “Repent! Sin will incur judgment,” God warned in effect through the prophets. Israel and Judah learned the hard way that God means what He says.

Chapter 21
When Amon dies, his son (also Amon) takes over and leads the people in the same wicked deeds. He starts reigning when he's twenty-two years old, and reigns for two years. A group of conspirators kill Amon Jr., but the people kill the conspirators too and make Amon's other son Josiah their new king.
Lessons.

The following truths were identified in today's lesson: If we make evil choices, then our actions can lead others to sin. If we make righteous choices, then our actions can lead others to turn to the Lord. Studying the scriptures can help us turn to the Lord with all our heart and put away evil influences.

Chapter 22

Josiah reigns in righteousness in Judah—Hilkiah repairs the temple and finds the book of the law—Josiah sorrows because of the wickedness of his fathers—Huldah prophesies wrath upon the people but blessings upon Josiah.
Lessons
Repentance plays an important role in God's plan for saving man. Jesus said that unless one repents, he will perish (Lk 13:3, 5). Before Peter told the crowd at Pentecost that they needed to be baptized, he told them to repent (Acts 2:38).
