Exodus 33 – God expresses His extreme anger at the Israelites to Moses and He would not go with them to the promised but eventually forgives them through conversation with Moses. Moses asks God to show him His glory, but God tells him that (I quote from vs. 22 & 23) “while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.”
Exodus 34 – After 40 days and nights before God, Moses returns from Mt. Sinai with the glory of God upon him and with a New Covenant from God. The glory was so strong upon him that he had to cover his face with a veil. God reiterates His commandments to the Israelites on how they are to obey and honor Him.
Exodus 35 – Moses shares God’s orders and rules keeping the Sabbath holy and His specifications in building The Tent of Meeting. God chooses the men who are to lead the building of the Tent of Meeting and fills them with the Spirit of God in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship.
