Bible summary of Numbers 33-35.
Chapter 33. This chapter chronicles the journey of the isrealites from Egypt. This chapter documents how they moved from city to city until they get the plains of Moab opposite Jericho under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. Along the line, when they get to the foot of Mount Hor, Aaron is directed by the Lord to go up the mountain where he dies.This chapter ends with an instruction from the Lord to drive out all the people living in these new territories where they occupy and how the land is to be apportion by a sacred lot to the various clans.
Numbers 34: This chapter continues with detail instructions from the Lord on where their boundaries of each apportioned land is to begin and end. The Lord also commands that the lands be divided among the remaining Nine and a half tribes. And a leader from each tribe is choosen to assist Eleazer the priest and Joshua the son of Nun in the sharing.
Numbers 35: This chapter concludes with the Lord commanding the people of Isreal to give Levites from their property certain towns to live in. God also instructs to designate cities of Refuge which will serve as a place of protection from the dead person's relatives who want to avenge the death.
Finally, God expresses his displeasure over murder as it pollutes the land.
