Isaiah 61-64
Ch. 61
Isaiah has the Spirit of the Lord on him. He was sent to bind up the broken hearted to proclaim freedom for the captives. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make a covenant with them. My soul rejoices in God.
Summary: If we are faithful to God we can receive the blessings.
Ch. 62
God loves the church and his people. Talk about the greatest of the Lord. God wants the people to cry out to Him. God will complete his work.
Summary: We all need to take the time to pray to our Father. He wants a relationship with us.
Ch. 63
The vengeance of God. We get victory our enemies. Prayer
Summary: God does get angry with us but he also forgives us. We can go to God to repent for our sins and pray before Him. We should rejoice and tell people about the great works of God.
Ch. 64
This chapter was about prayer. How God had rescued the people but they kept committing sin. God got anger and hid himself from them. The people knew what God was capable of so they called out to him.
Summary: When we need help we can and should call on God for everything.
