I too have noticed how Vancouver has a very small black population that is also unequally dispersed and that is why I am grateful to see a community like Black Women Connect Vancouver which is a collective of women who come together to inspire, empower, leverage our strengths and embrace our diverse experiences. It’s a community where women can build meaningful relationships, and celebrate the beauty of black womanhood.
