Kenneth
Patchen (1911–1972) was an American poet and novelist known for his
experimental style, blending poetry with visual arts and jazz music.
He authored over forty books, including

the Brave* (1936),
*The
Journal of Albion Moonlight* (1941),
and
*Collected Poems* (1969).
Patchen's
work often addressed social issues and war, resonating with younger
audiences, especially during the Vietnam War era.
