In John 8:12 (ESV), Jesus said, "I AM the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” In today's episode, guest speaker Elizabeth Zacharias shares how Jesus is the Light and that we as Christian believers are to be light, too, to a world in spiritual darkness.
We discuss what this means on a practical level, such as sharing God's love, kindness, and meeting needs with everyone we meet - at Walmart, the post office, the grocery store, with our spouses, our children, and others.
Elizabeth Zacharias is an author, speaker, and life coach. She lives just south of Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband Dan, their two young adult daughters, and their two cats. They moved from Maine to Missouri via Wyoming 27 years ago. She graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a Bachelor's of Science in Social Work degree.
Elizabeth loves to write, cook, eat dark chocolate, and explore other types of cuisines and cultures. She also loves to encourage others in their life journey as they grow closer to Jesus, their Bridegroom King.
She longs to see them grow emotionally and spiritually so they can become the person that God, their creator, always desired them to be in relationship with Him, since the beginning of time.
