Dr. Tre Pennie is a U.S. Army veteran with 20 years of experience as a Sergent with the Dallas Police Department. His doctorate is in education, but his experience goes far from his upbringing in a neighborhood that was home to the launching pad for President George H.W. Bush's War on Drugs. Dr. Pennie is challenging incumbent U.S. Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson in the 2020 General Election.
