In celebration of national black history month Niketra has a speech announcing her breakthrough of systemic oppression and plans to use her voice and creative self expression to continue rising up and evolving from the perspective of a brown skin, melanin woman in America. Black history month to me is interesting to bring attention to our forefathers and what they achieved for us today yet, I think we are to apply pressure in making changes for today's generation. We celebrate our past and I want to continue to push the culture forward and having power and authority of our own lives versus the political, educational, health and financial institutions that are crumbling as technology advances.
