REVEREND SHERRI D. THOMAS
Sherri D. Thomas was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Hyattsville, Maryland. She received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Accounting at the University of Maryland University College and a Master’s in Theology at Regent University. Sherri currently works as an Administrative/Training Officer with the Federal Government.
Sherri is very grateful for her parents who emphasized the importance of having a relationship with the Lord. As a result, she gave her life to Christ at the age of 9 years old. Sherri LOVES the Lord and is committed to serving Him in any capacity. She also LOVES the people of God! She serves on several ministries at her local church. She is one of the Worship Leaders on the Praise Team; active participant in the music ministry; member of the Women of Rare Distinction Executive Board; intercessor; mentor and ordained licensed Minister of the Gospel.
Sherri is clear that part of her life’s purpose is to minister to women that have experienced hurt. Having experienced brokenness and overcoming divorce, she understands the importance of extending support and encouragement to others in need. In this new chapter of her life, she is optimistic and committed to the path God has set before her.
A few of her favorite scriptures: Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me; Psalms 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”; Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you”.
