It’s got them doing things they’d never do…
This week, we got topics with a sprinkle of on-the-spot conspiracy! First off, the Ocean’s Nine of corporate Democrats, led by Josh Gottheimer, have been striving to be an obstruction to the $3.5 trillion budget bill, and in fact, are (or at least were) prepared to try to block the effort to pass it. This puts them in step with the GOP in terms of only wanting the bipartisan infrastructure bill passed.
We talk about the California governor recall election, particularly dangerous far-right candidate, talk show host Larry Elder. He’s got all the right talking points (get it?) & is leading in the polls, but he seems so out of touch with Californians that even his fellow Republican candidates see him as purely as a poison. Also, Ron DeSantis’s anti-mask crusade is proving a bit costly for him. He’s been clout chasing in his mission to ban mask mandates in schools, & even withhold school leaders’ salaries if they require masks. But polling is showing that Floridians are generally opposed to this. Guess they love their kids more than they love DeSantis, huh?
Big update on REAL election fraud! After being allegedly bribed to run for Florida State Senate 37 by disgraced former State Senator Frank Artiles, Alex Rodriguez has been charged & plead guilty to his 2 charges. He will also avoid prison time by agreeing to cooperate with authorities on Artiles’ case.
