In 2020 self-care became the newly re-invented buzzword of the year.   Going inside and being disconnected from distractions has allowed room for emotions to float up to the surface.  Many have uncovered the connection between what feels like unending emotional pain and their family.  This discovery is not that new, it has been around for centuries. It is known as Generational Trauma.  

Generational Trauma isn't experienced by just one individual but passed down from one generation to the next. Though it is relatively a new field of study by experts, those who have been touched by it know firsthand the setback and emotional torture that it can give.
