Thank you everyone for tuning for my second episode! This week when I asked my community what topics they might be interested in me covering, a point that came up more than once was the notion of boundaries and subsequent anxiety from either not expressing those boundaries, or from having them ignored. The act of setting boundaries has of course always existed, however as this new wave of mental health culture comes to the forefront of the collective consciousness, some of us are being called upon to reflect on what we consider to be our boundaries. It’s been a journey for me to understand that setting boundaries (especially with loved ones), is actually a form of self care. It’s all about ensuring you are protecting your *mental* well-being so as to be of service to others. I know this topic is a cultural touch point for many of us as women, so I’m looking forward to hearing what you all think!
