Description

My friends, today my Crucifixion song is haunting my inner soul and I know I must share it with you. Through the mercy and grace of God, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, this song was written in the late seventies, but not without much support from my very dear and special friend, Gwen, who helped me put it onto music sheets with all those notes and different parts, that I was hearing and feeling inside my being. I could hear a choir singing, with deep voices on one side and higher voices on the other side, both men and women voices going back and forth. And somewhere in the middle of the song, there was one single voice as a solo part. Gwen is amazing, putting those different parts on paper, but wait, there’s more, Gwen, at that time, being our Music Director for the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church choir in Bristol, CT, also arranged for us to be able to sing this Crucifixion song with the choir, as written with the different parts, on Passion Sunday. Yes indeed, Gwen is amazing. Thank you my dear Gwen, your special friendship is a true blessing in my life!
