My sisters and brothers, our podcast song is, ‘Holy Spirit Breath of God’, and this is song segment 7 of 7 from our book, ‘Journey with Trust and Fire Within’. It is our last of the song segment in this book, and as all our songs, it was written many years ago but not recorded until years later. However, as with these seven songs, along with some of our other songs, with voices and guitar we ministered through them throughout our mission journey of our ministry.
Now this book segment is about our ministry going through a transformation. At the time of this transformation, we really didn’t understand what it actually entailed, we only knew that the Holy Spirit was speaking from the depths of our soul about our ministry, but the feeling inside my own soul felt as though it was intensely grieving. The grieving started the day before Pentecost Sunday, and on that Pentecost Sunday, the day of our concert, this transformation took place. Now here’s that segment. Quote: “The next day, it was Pentecost Sunday. I’m able to function but as to what degree was still questionable. I knew where I was supposed to be. I’m not a stranger to stepping out into the unknown. If I know nothing else, I know this: my complete trust is in Him who was calling me there. Trust in me? Never. But trust in God? Always and forever! So off I went. There was a Pentecost Sunday Mass Service with Fr. Bill McCarthy, then followed by the concert. But what about this concert? My body was no longer fighting, and it seems to be somewhat relaxing. Mass service is over and then it happened. The concert was given, and a transformation was taking taking place right before my very eyes. I felt on fire, and the dark place my soul was in was over taken by this “fire within”! Everything was clear! I could see God’s works. I could feel God’s holy breath breathing on me. I could hear the soft voice of Jesus in my thoughts again. I was on fire again. I had “fire within” me, and I could not keep it silenced! That very moment, I felt the Holy Spirit taking over, taking control! The breath of God filled the room from the very first song, Holy Spirit Breath of God”. UnQuote.
