My friends, today our podcast is about recognizing our Lord’s Love all around us. Our podcast song is, ‘Your Love’s All Around Me’. This song came to me at a time of when I was beginning to see the Lord’s love in everything around me. It makes me think of the times when my mom would say to me, Quote: ‘Sheila, you have to take time to stop and smell the roses’. Unquote. I remember wondering, what did she mean? Years later I realized my mom was right, we do need to take the time to smell the roses. We also need to take time to see the wonders of life around us and in our own lives. After yet another Spirit filled Holy Spirit Breakfast, and hearing over and over Fr. Bill telling us that Jesus Loves us, and Sister Bernadette telling us to see the love of God in life’s beauty around us, simple yet powerful words of Wisdom, I was taking everything in, and believing with wide opened eyes. I love the simple yet so powerful words of Wisdom, which both Fr. Bill and Sister Bernadette would repeatedly instill in us, for when we finally get it, wow, our lives blossom, as those roses that we stop to take time to smell. So my dear sisters and brothers, know that Jesus Loves you, He loves each and everyone of us, and when we truly believe this, we will see the love of God in life’s beauty all around us, and in our own lives.
