If this is a yes, then you may be an overfunctioner. Overfunctioning happens when you take on more than you should of the parenting tasks or in a relationship, in an attempt to control or fix a situation.

Effects of Overfunctioning are:

1. Exhaustion and Burnout

2. Resentment and Anger

3. Problematic relationship between all members of the family

4. Demotivation

How to STOP overfunctioning:

I am an overfunctioner who is trying to take a step back. Lets do this together for the sake of our sanity.
