Description

Brooke Finegold is a comedian from California and creator/ host of the standup series, The Unbirthday Show. Brooke shares the important lessons she learned in vulnerability during clown class at USC. She discusses the sexism in comedy, both as an industry and as a society, and the importance of having a female mentor. Brooke talks about the value of open minded early education in realizing the biases in people and the media. Plus she details the differences in throwing a live event pre vs post Covid both as the promoter and as the performer, especially in regard to public perception of ethics and safety.
