Olympic Speed Walker/Race Walker Tom Bosworth joined me on the show to share his story. We had a great discussion about sport, mindset and how Tom went from finishing last in all his races to becoming a British and World Champion purely through training, dedication and persistence. Tom has broken and set numerous British and World Records, as you'll find out by listening more records than I could keep up with. As well as being a successful athlete, Tom made history in 2015 by being the first openly gay Team GB Track and Field athlete; so we had a great talk about what that means to Tom and how there is still a stigma surrounding sexuality and sport. It was an honour meeting Tom and wish him all the best for the Olympics in Tokyo 2021.
