We live in a “selfie” driven society. People can’t stand to go very long without documenting their personal lives. In an effort to become popular, people will often do and say things that are out of control. The brief moment of exhilaration, the five minutes of fame, and even the personal pain of a prank, are for momentary pleasure. The Bible teaches us to practice temperance, or self-control, in an effort to preserve both mind and spirit. With the great emphasis on self-care today it is shocking the lengths people will go for a laugh or for followers.
