🤔🤷🤩Do you know and appreciate what you have?
🕐👀🔙🏝Lately, I was looking back at my past travels, the journeys I was able to do. And I have gotten a little bit nostalgic, along with a feeling of: „Let’s go!“
The only thing is Corona, doesn’t share too many opportunities for that right now. So for a day or two, I happened to pick up a little complaining streak, where I mentioned the situation and those limitations quite a few times, being upset about it. And fortunately, a friend of mine gave me a reminder: „What are you so upset about? Look at all the things you do have, instead of always eyeing for the things you can’t have right now“.
🗣👤❗🙏 And that was actually a necessary confrontation for me, as I realized his point. With that in mind, I took a couple of deep breaths, and I reassessed the situation again, focussing on the thing I am thankful for. What are things that you are troubled with, or which you don’t feel very well about? Maybe picking up the phone and talking to a friend is the perspective change you need to get back towards appreciating more.
